Communications Activities that foster Civil Discourse

Communication is a vital skill in an increasingly diversified world. This workshop is for teachers/staff interested in integrating approaches that lead youth to consider different perspectives and develop empathy, cooperation, and problem solving skills. This interactive session will offer collaborative discussion strategies to foster dialogue with and among youth. Participants will engage in activities and debriefing methods that promote active listening and inclusive conversation.

Coffee/tea provided. Participants are welcome to bring breakfast with them. 
Participants will receive certificates upon completion of the training.
