Position: Operations Assistant (Hall Monitor)   
Department: Operations Department 
Location:  Harriman, Lower East Side         
Schedule:  M-F, 3- 3.5 hours a day
Salary: $10.00 p/ hour                                                   
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Part-time

Summary of Position
The Operations Assistant will perform a variety of duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the Clubhouse facilities during program hours. This role will serve as a “jack of all trades” supporting program operations that may include youth group management, lesson implementation, supply distribution, program area supervision, member supervision and visitor relations. 
Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor and positively interact with members at all times to ensure members are safe and engaged.
  • Record hourly ratio counts, ensure members are scanning into areas, and maintain all required evaluation information.
  • Provide engaging and informative clubhouse tours to visitors, potential members, parents and community.
  • Monitor program areas to include, but not limited to entry and exit ways, locker rooms, coat check.
  • Ensure proper care of all materials takes place, organize game room and report any misused or damaged materials.

Required Skills/Experience:


Education and/or Experience
Post-secondary training or college credits; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Demonstrated organizational/ leadership ability; Associate’s degree (A.A) preferred.
