Job Description:
- Promote and recruit for the Service Learning Program within Local High Schools.
- Design and implement programming that meets the educational, career readiness, service learning and social needs of youth in the community.
- Develop partnerships with community organizations that will provide our youth with community service opportunities.
- Coordinate Service learning activities.
- Work collaboratively with
- Monitor and report all DYCD and CAS required outcomes.
- Supervise 20 student Youth staff and 6 Adult Staff.
- Ensure that all mandates for the Service Learning Contract are met (this encloses the supervision of the program components)
Required Skills/Experience:
• Bachelors degree
• Volunteer experience
• Three years experience providing leadership in civic engagement, volunteerism, or community service programming with youth ages 11-15.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
• Computer literate with knowledge of basic Microsoft Office programs including Word an Excel
