Job Description:
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop a program design that reflects ASPIRA’s core values which include structured, elementary age appropriate activities and curricula with clear outcomes.
· Plan and implement participant recruitment strategies and activities consistent with overall aims and contractual requirements of the program
· Ensure all relevant administrative reports are submitted in a timely and accurate manner, for example: monthly reports, intake forms, event sign-in sheets, etc.
· Adhere to all relevant health/safety laws and funding source policies to ensure compliance
· Communicate with all relevant program stakeholders (e.g. funding source, school administration, management) as necessary to ensure efficient and positive relations.
· Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in recruitment strategies and incentive procedures.
· Identify, manage and monitor internal/external training necessary for required staff development standards.
· Monitor support staff performance (in relevant areas) according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist according to performance levels.
· Liaise with other departments to recruit participants for enrichment/supplemental activities and support organizational events
· Manage and control program expenditures within agreed budgets

Required Skills/Experience:
Additional Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field and 3-5 years experience in a management role
• DOE & DOH Fingerprinted (Possession of SACC License a plus)
• Experience in youth development and strong facilitation skills preferred.
• Must possess strong interpersonal relations skills
• Must be responsible and organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills required especially in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• Fluency in Spanish a plus
Available to work Mondays through Fridays, afternoons (max of 28 hours a week)
