Job Description:

Harlem RBI, an award winning sports-based youth development program, is seeking a passionate individual to serve as Senior Manager of Strategy Design and Implementation.   • ·       Work closely with Harlem RBI’s Chief Strategy Officer and other leaders in the organization to design the strategy for Harlem RBI, implement key strategic initiatives, and design, test, and roll out innovations to increase effectiveness
  • ·       Conduct organizational performance assessment and implement improvement actions;
  • ·       Drive organization-wide continuous improvement initiative;
  • ·       Own readiness work-plan and coordinate progress with different organizational areas;
  • ·       Regularly update risk assessment and escalate as required;
  • ·       Identify and help implement innovative tests and pilots on out of school services;
  • ·       Evaluate impact, feasibility, and risks of additional strategic opportunities as needed.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • ·       Master’s degree with sufficient and rigorous quantitative coursework (e.g., advanced calculus, statistics, etc.);
  • ·       At least 2+ years (professional or volunteer) teaching or youth development experience;
  • ·       Strong experience in Excel;
  • ·       Proven experience leading initiative design, tracking and implementation plus complex strategic or tactical analysis (e.g., market research, segmentation, etc.);
  • ·       Strong analytical capabilities and ability to generate insights from data;
  • ·       Top-down approach to problem solving with ability to simplify complex problems and structure frameworks help prioritize issues and lead to resolution (80/20 thinking);
  • ·       Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to generate enthusiasm and confidence from others and lead to action;
  • ·       Comfort working in a fluid, non-hierarchical environment and capable of managing himself, hold peers accountable, and make adjustments in both day-to-day and larger-scale activities based on new information and situations;
  • ·       Balance between professional maturity and humility, willingness to learn quickly and work in a challenging, entrepreneurial atmosphere;
  • ·       High energy, passionate, and dedicated.
